As an outreach program of the community college, Cerritos College Economic Development (CCED) CACT program provides technical services to manufacturing businesses looking to maximize performance and enhance quality of their products or services. TECH PREP -
Tech Prep was designed to provide high school and middle school students with career direction and job skills to enable them to get employment. The curriculum is designed to give the students some experience with different career paths and to show relevance to these paths in the courses they are studying. The Tech Prep program works with the students in creating a bridge to the community college, as well as, encouraging further college study beyond their AA degree.

ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM -
CCED has partnered with Education to Go (Ed2go), a division of Thomson Learning, to provide an anytime & anywhere training for individuals and businesses at affordable prices. We offer a wide variety of enjoyable, dynamic, and highly interactive courses over the internet. CCED offers two types of Online Training Program:
- Ed2go is designed for students and individuals who are interested in continuing education, personal development. or to simply to satisfy an interest.
- Ed2go-pro is designed to make it easy for businesses to provide high-quality training for their employees—no matter how many employees they have or where they're located.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING -
Employment Training Panel (ETP) is California funded training program to help manufacturers achieve increased performance and profitability through implementation of support and workforce training. CCED will help your business access state funded training to supplement the cost of training your employees.

JUMP START PROGRAM: 7th and 8th Graders -
The Jump Start provides middle school students with career planning and exploration activities that highlight high-wage, high-growth regional industries. It was developed in partnership with our feeder unified school districts, and with longstanding industry partner Boeing.

QUICK START PROGRAM - FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
The Quick Start Program enhances the linkages and Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways between high schools and community colleges. The mission of this program is to expand and develop new CTE programs and opportunities for students in secondary schools.

CERTIFICATION PREP AND TESTING PROGRAMS -
CCED offers Manufacturing Certification and Certification Testing Programs that benefit companies, workers, students and educators. The Manufacturer Skills Standards Council (MSSC) assessed worker skills and knowledge based on high-performance, industry-validated skill standards for all manufacturing sectors.

2-IN-1 CERTIFICATE OF SUPERVISORY AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS PROGRAM -
Empower your organization's employees! Cerritos College Economic Development (CCED) offers a 2-in-1 certification program, a Certificate of Management through Cerritos College and a Supervisory and Management Skills Certificate through National Management Association (NMA). CCED developed a Supervisory Management Series (SMS) of classes, partnered with NMA, that can benefit your organization through increased employee leadership, productivity and morale by empowering them with tools for success.
