MSSC Testing and Certification
CCED, MSSC Certification Preparation and Assessment Center
Cerritos College Economic Development (CCED) is a Certified Assessment Center of the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) to prepare, assess and benchmark organization's production workforce (entry level through first line of supervision), educators, students and trainers against industry-led, federally recognized foundational skill standards. CCED can provide you the necessary tools and training to prepare and test to be MSSC Certified in the manufacturing field.
What does being MSSC Certified Mean?
MSSC Certified means that you, the employee, educator, student or trainer have the foundational skill and knowledge in one or all four broad areas common to all manufacturing sectors. The areas are manufacturing processes and production, quality assurance, maintenance awareness, and safety – assessed and benchmarked to master industry-led and federally recognized foundational skill standards. To see a list of the key work activities covered by each assessment, see MSSC Production Assessment: Structure and Processes.
