ETP Training
Accessing State-Funded Training Through CCED
Who is Eligible?
Train supervisors, technical/engineering staff, and administrative and frontline production workers.
The employees must be:
- Full-time employees working 35 hours or more per week
- Earning the ETP minimum wage standard which varies by county and can include employer-paid health care benefits
Where is the Training, and How is it Conducted?
CCED ETP training is delivered by a select group of highly qualified instructors with manufacturing industry experience. The training is customized to provide training that meets your business needs.
All training is provided in a classroom setting or at your worksite for groups of up to 20 students. Training schedules are flexible to accommodate your work schedule. Classroom training is completed by practical, hands-on training done on the job.
How Does My Company Qualify?
Companies that want to take advantage of this program must be:
- California employers that pay into the Unemployment Insurance Fund
- Manufacturers and companies that "face out-of-state competition".

Call Cerritos College Economic Development about the ETP Program for a no cost review of your company's training requirements and qualifications for funding.
How Does My Company Get Started?
- Complete the Certification Statement (ETP eligibility form). We can help you complete this 15-minute process.
- Select the employees and approve the curriculum developed by the trainer.
- Finalize the training schedule and secure your commitment to start.
