Course description: This course is a survey of ISO16949, the quality standard used in automotive industries. Students will learn about the relationship of ISO16949 with other quality systems and the importance of registration. Emphasis will be placed on how to implement the standard and recognizing how auditors interpret the standard.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to produce a document describing a sample procedure for a product or tooling of their choice. Students will also produce a data collection strategy for their product or tooling and present a graphical representation of their data with appropriate quality improvement strategies.
